Learning Objectives:

• Identify your top 3–5 career/professional interests and understand what makes each one compelling to you

• Apply a simple decision-making framework to evaluate options based on values, skills, market demand, and feasibility

• Create a 30-day action plan with concrete next steps to explore or test your chosen direction

Activities:

• Interest Mapping: Participants will list their passions/interests and discuss what draws them to each one

• Values + Skills Audit: Small group or paired activity to identify core values and transferable skills that apply across options

• Decision Matrix: Guided worksheet to rate options against key criteria (alignment, market fit, timeline, resources needed)

• Action Planning: Individual 30-day sprint planning (one key action per week to explore/test the direction)

• Conversation Starter Practice: Participants will practice 3–4 opening lines and get feedback in a low-stakes, supportive environment

• "Tell Me About You" Role Play: Paired activity where participants practice talking about their work/goals in natural language (not corporate-speak)

• The Ask: Guided discussion on how to request referrals, introductions, or informational chats without feeling pushy; participants will draft their own version

• Follow-Up System Setup: Participants will choose a simple follow-up method (email template, calendar reminder system, or contact tracking) and commit to one action before leaving
